Eudialyte crystallizes in the form of masses and micro-tabular and rhombohedral crystals.
The color range includes pink, rose, red and red-brown. The mineral was first described by F. Stromeyer in 1819 and was named from Greek words for "easy to deceive".
Locality: Chibine, Kola peninsula, Russia.
Hardness is 5 - 5.5.
Eudialyte has some other names, among them are: "Lopar Blood", "Garnet fieldspar". Along with Eudialyte you can find some other minerals : Aegrine, Nepheline, Sphene, Lamprophyllite.
